Internet Policy

At Financial Center, we recognize that privacy and security of personal financial information is a concern of our members and visitors to our web site. Therefore, we have taken the utmost care in establishing and implementing procedures to protect this information.

Your privacy is safeguarded in all aspects of our business. Our employees are informed of their responsibility to protect the confidentiality of member financial information and are governed by a code of conduct that ensures this confidentiality. Any information we obtain on our web site is not shared with other organizations. Security procedures and internal controls are also in place to protect member privacy. In addition, Financial Center uses special encryption technology when visitors connect to our secure server at https://sec.fcfcu.com/ for confidential services such as Financial Center Online. Most browsers indicate when you connect to or leave a secured site.

Financial Center Online uses "cookies" to confirm that the end user is logged on during an active session. A cookie is a very small text file that a Web server passes to your browser. A cookie can also contain your custom settings or personalized information for interactive features on a web site.

Member financial information is protected by Financial Center and used only by us for the benefit of our members. This information may be used to protect and administer records and accounts; to comply with certain laws and regulations; to help us design or improve our products and services; and to understand your financial needs so that we may provide you with products and services of high quality and value.

Financial Center continues to monitor and review the privacy measures in place to protect member information. These measures are updated with changes in technology and as new methods of conducting financial transactions emerge. We do not knowingly collect, nor is our web site designed or directed, to use personal information from children under the age of 13 without containing verifiable consent from their parents. Should a child whom we know to be under the age of 13 sends personal information to us, we will only use that information to respond directly to that child, seek parental consent, or provide parental notice.

Availability

It is Financial Center's goal to keep our web site and online services available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This includes other electronic services such as ATM, VISAŽ Online, MoneyLine, and automated loan applications. However, these systems may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, equipment problems, off-line processing, or external factors outside of our control. Therefore, we cannot guarantee 24 hours per day, seven days a week availability.

Member Account Access

Online Financial Services, VISA® Online, MoneyLine, and all other electronic services designed to provide members direct access to their own confidential account information have been developed for the convenience of our members. Use of the system is limited to users who have been authorized by Financial Center. Any actual or attempted unauthorized access to the system may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution to the fullest extent permitted by law. Financial Center reserves the right to monitor and record all activity on the system. Any information obtained by review or monitoring of the system may be subject to review by law enforcement organizations in connection with the investigation of possible criminal activity on the system.
